Halloween Crafting

Thought you might enjoy seeing a couple of projects I completed for Halloween.  Halloween is one of my absolute favorite holidays.  It is just for fun and brings out the kid in everyone - even if it's just enjoying the candy!  I always decorate the house and we usually have a family pumpkin carving party.  This year the weather was perfect and we were able to go outside for a fire and hot-dog and marshmallow roasting.  Here are the invitations I made for the party:
I used my Silhouette and a design I found in the Silhouette Online Store.  I used the print and cut feature for the wording on orange cardstock.  Then I cut the black silhouetted frame from adhesive card stock so that it would be easy to adhere in place.

These little treat bags were inspired by Richele Christensen.  As soon as I saw her cute design I knew I had to make some.  They are small - just 4" tall - but I was able to fit 3 little snack size bars in each one.  Adorable!  Click on her name above to see all the details of how they are made.

Hope you had some fun and frights for Halloween!

As always, thanks for stopping!

  1. Hi Cathy! I hope this note reaches you…..I wanted to thank you SO much for the sweet comment you left for me on my blog. It really means a lot to me that you took the time to share your heart with me, and it absolutely made my day. Thanks again! hugs, lori xox

  2. Hi Lori! Yes, you reached me and I am so glad to see you here - even if the content is a little 'dated and dusty'. I will be 'quitting my day job' soon to pursue what I was born to be - an artist! I've always felt that was what I was intended for but have let others hijack my dreams over the years to help them achieve theirs. That is all well and good but now it is my turn! :) Can't wait to spend more time with artful souls like you, creating and sharing. So thank you so much for all of your sweet inspiration!! Love and hugs, Cathy
